Conover Day 3

A few new things for us today in addition to the standard playing on the beach and swimming. Eddie went on his first boat ride. He was fine with it, minus the annoying life jacket. But once I got him positioned just right so it wasn't riding up in his throat he was cool with it. And for Rowan, she went potty in the lake for the first time. We have been telling her not to pee in the water because we were afraid she would think she could pee in a pool then. But we were on the boat, and she said she had to go, so we didn't have a lot of options. Forgot to bring the potty along! And she wouldn't just swim and pee, so Ed had to dangle her over the boat side in the water. She refused for a bit, but then finally went. Too cute. Of course she got to help Grandpa Bill drive the boat too.

Rowan really liked her life jacket (she got a new one before we came because Eddie would need the infant one) so she started using that instead of her waterwings when swimming at times. Eddie decided that splashing really was pretty awesome, again! And Rowan got to go see Moose and Cindy's place next door for something, so now Cindy is her new best friend and has to go with her whenever she goes back for something.
