Ed had his third hockey game tonight. They chalked up another loss, but from the stands it was a pretty good game, better than the last one. Ed seems to have more stamina every game, he played very well tonight. Minus the fact that none of his shots seemed to hit the net, but he was more aggressive than last game, but not too much where he was in the penalty box all game. So no penalty minutes, but there was a penalty shot for the other team which was his doing, so maybe that is worse than penalty minutes? And they scored of course. It was very early in the first period too. But oh well, we are making progress.
It was a very physical game, and the refs weren't calling everything which makes for a more exciting game. Ed twisted his ankle last night after the Brewer game, so that is a little sore tonight, and he flew into the boards and messed up his left shoulder, a fellow teammate popped it back in for him, but that is sore tonight too. So we are trying Aleve to ease the pain, heaven forbid we try icing anything, he is too stubborn to do anything like that! Anyway, I am sure he will score a goal again next game when I can't be there!
