what a day...

When Rowan and Eddie were in Lyndon Station with Grandma and Grandpa last weekend, they did some shopping. Rowan got these boots and has been begging to wear them every day. She doesn't understand that they aren't 80 degree weather shoes. So since today was cooler and she didn't have gym class, I let her wear them. So excited!
Today, Rowan rode her bike to school for the first time too! Eddie and I tagged along to be sure she got it locked up and what not! Success.
This is the bridge we take along our path to school. Eddie hasn't gotten over the fear of riding his bike across it yet...so a walking we will go.
After our morning business was done, Eddie and I headed out skate shopping. And it appears we came home with a bit more! So the hockey expenses begin! We were actually doing some birthday gift shopping for our friend too, but Eddie came home with....
skates, gloves, and skate guards!
(those are his muscles, can't you see them?)
We also took a trip to the library to get some books today...and when coming out of the library, I found this little friend on my mud flap. Disgusting! I tried kicking him off and he wouldn't budge. Not sure how long he has been there, but he was stuck. Had to go home and scrape him off with a shovel.
