the wedding fun begins...

This morning I was up bright and early and on the road to pick up Grandma Julie and Aunt Amanda to head to our very first bridal gown shopping appointment in Hubertus! It was perfect! Amanda tried on 8 dresses...and the last one ended up being the one! We all loved it! The only sneak peak anyone will get!

After this appointment, we headed to Menomonee Falls for a bridal shower for our cousin's fiancé Laura! The shower was at my cousin Jessie's house. Got to catch up with some family, met some of Laura's family too! After the shower we headed back to Pewaukee to pick up Rowan before heading to Bliss bridal in Brookfield to start our search for bridesmaid dresses! We weren't very successful there. They didn't have a color Amanda liked that we could see in a dress, and not a ton of styles either! So we then stopped at Savvy bridal and eventually ended up at David's bridal. We were the most successful there, Rowan even could try on dresses! She loved it.

After our dress venture this afternoon, we headed back to Pewaukee to change and head out for dinner. Off to the 5 O'clock club with the family. Mitch got back from Miami earlier in the week where he had been for the last 2 months doing an internship for school. Tiffany, Amanda and Peter's friend joined us as well, she was kidless and husband less, lucky lady!

Aunt Amanda even got surprised with some birthday dessert tonight!

After dinner, we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Casey and Jake joined us for a couple rounds of Racko...then I put the kids to bed, and we headed across the street to Billy Ho's for a couple drinks with some of my cousins!
