Christmas Eve...home alone!

I don't know if we have ever, in Ed and my relationship, been home alone on Christmas Eve. It was great! We didn't have to be anywhere and any certain time. We had the day to bake and play games and relax. Much needed since our next few days will be the total opposite.

We started our day with baking...peanut butter cups, wreaths, snowballs, turtles, peanut kisses, chocolate covered pretzels, and cutout cookies. Everyone helped! Very successful.
Rowan sporting the singing and dancing Santa hat.
One of our games of choice...Shut the Box. It was the first time the kids had played and they loved it. It is a great game for Rowan and her pairs and math.
Rowan brought home this Grinch Dust from school, so we had to make sure we got it out in the yard to keep Grinch away.
Then there was Ed and the dancing Santa hat.
Kids got some new Christmas jammies to wear tonight. So after baths it was time to put those on and get ready for bed.
All in all a successful awesome day at home. We are pretty much packed and have out piles of things ready to pack to hit the road towards WI tomorrow afternoon after celebrating at home.
