My Uncle Scott passed away a week ago after a 10 year battle with cancer. We were back with family tonight to celebrate his life, and his 55th birthday as well.
We initially weren't going to take Rowan to the visitation because we didn't know what etiquette really was. But my family encouraged us to bring her; Uncle Scott would have wanted her there. She was pretty good during the visitation, but wanted nothing to do with sitting quiet and still during the service, so we made good use of the church's playroom.
This was Rowan with Uncle Scott just a year ago! Christmas 2009. You will be missed Uncle Scott!
