Rowan started school today at Kettle Moraine Middle School. 6th Grade!!
Today only the 6th graders and new students went to school. They had 8th graders there to mentor them and show them around the school. They got to learn the lay of the land before all of the middle schoolers were there. She had to get up at 5:45 am as the bus comes at 6:37am. Was an early start!
Then this happened after school...
Ed and I always said we weren't getting anyone a phone until they were 15 and driving. But with these big changes this year, school 15+ min away, on the bus for 30 min, etc, we decided it was time to get Rowan a phone. Just so happened that AT&T has buy one get one free, so I was able to get a new phone as well. Wish us luck on navigating the world of social media and screen time for middle schooler. She picks the coral phone with a flowered case. Love it.
