dad's in...

Kids were so excited that Dad finally gave in and joined them in the trampoline. It was all about double bouncing the kids...they loved it.
When your head is above the netting I am pretty sure you are too big to be in the trampoline...
Hanging out on the deck using our new table and chairs.
Some joined me for a pedicure in preparation for our week of vacation in northern WI coming up.

heavy reading...and park

While I was busy working...Eddie was doing a little light reading..or not so light.
And after work we headed out for some exercise. 2 mile walk and some playtime at the park.

Eddie LIKES it too.

This boy thinks the trampoline is pretty cool too! He can get some air!

we got a tramp...

In a gymnasts world this is a tramp...not a trampoline!

We got a new to us trampoline from a neighbor friend who didn't want to put it up in their new yard due to their lack of fence and too many kids that they didn't trust to use it appropriately. So offered them money and to take if off their hands. They wouldn't take cash so we bought them some liquor of their choice in exchange. And someone is in LOVE!
Per our tradition we planted flowers in my pots on Mother's day...and they are looking awesome. I was having some doubts about what I picked out initially...but happy with them now.

Stillwater MN

Today Eddie was invited to a birthday party for his friend Will; it was at this create and paint art studio. So Rowan and I took him and decided to check out the tourist area while he was at the party. We did some painting of our own first...then we checked out a few stores and got some ice cream!
Here is Eddie with all the boys! Oh and Kira!
Eddie picked a bank to paint and he painted a White Bear paw on it. Apparently I didn't get a picture of it...another time.

missing our pup

Sure is weird around here not having to tend to another living being...and not have to put stuff on the couch to keep him off; and not feeling the need to vacuum every other day due to the hair balls floating around...!

She's back...and new table

Ugh I have never been so happy for this phone call...that Buick was fine, but sure is nice to have this beauty back...something about the gas gauge that functions giving you a sense of security.
And it looks great!
About a month ago we ordered a new outdoor table, chairs and umbrella for our deck. And it was delivered today. We will have to wait longer for the bigger umbrella; but they gave us the smaller loaner to use until that is in. Decided I needed the outdoor poofs that match too. Loving it all.

giz and Eddie...

When you give a kid some orange cones...he sets himself up a hockey course...
And pics from the last few days of Gizmo...looks like he is doing well without us; as if we ever doubted that.

And then a night full of sun and soccer!!

Father's Day!

We got to spread the love to all of our Father's today!!

We woke up with Papa, then headed to Grandpa Kris's for breakfast visit, and stopped to see Grandpa Bill on our way home...
Before we hit the road we stopped at Karen and Doug's house to drop off Gizmo...he is spending time with them until Grace takes him for the week when we are up in Conover for the week of the 4th of July. Spoiled rotten immediately.
We were on the road before lunch time...stopped in Lyndon Station briefly for a quick visit and then back on the road to get home at a decent time. And then of course nothing out for dinner...so off to FC to finish off our Dad's day celebration.
And can't close up a Sunday night with out some wrestling...

where to start?!?

Two big reasons we are in town this weekend...Ed and his brothers surprised his Dad with US Open tickets for today for Father's Day...and they all showed up to join him for the day! The weather is a little questionable...could rain, could be humid, but should still be a fun day.
And the second reason was to Shower my sister with Baby gifts for her baby boy that is arriving in September!! I hosted the shower at Revere's in Delafield. Was more of a luncheon type shower with her closest friends! It was great. The kids were very helpful and well behaved and had fun together!! And us ladies got to catch up and play a could games too! Then obviously lunch and cake!!
After the shower we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a little swimming until Dad got back from the US open.
Then we headed to Bucky's Lakeside for some dinner with Nana, Papa, Dusty and Blayne. We started outside on the patio, then it started to rain so we headed inside to the sauna...and they forgot my food...but overall an ok meal.
Here are a few pics from the US Open that Ed took...
The man in uniform walking away is our friend Garrett Grulke...he was one of the US Open players security apparently...
