Team Hoggystyle wins 4th place RIBS

The men were off before 7am getting set up.

So Nana and I were going to take the kids to the hotel to swim where they were staying. Get there, get kids changed, head to pool..."closed for maintenance"! You are kidding me!

 

So the back up plan was to head to the area mall and hit up the arcade. Kids were entertained for an hour while it finished raining, got a few crappy toys, and we were off to the BBQ!

But not before hitting up Wendy's for a frosty...pretty sure this was their first ever Frosty!

Thankfully the weather changed while we were at the BBQ, rain was gone and the sun even showed its face on and off. Was great. Kids did the games and bounce house, got faces painted, etc.

There was a lot of food prep underway as well! Chicken, best dish, and Ribs.

And Ed pulled off a 4th place rib trophy! We were all stunned and so proud. My hunk of a husband was teary! Love him. Such a great day with family and friends in Illinois.
