sleepovers

Rowan got to have a sleepover at Brooklyn's house last night...and they slept in this neat little fort they made!

We had a strange occurrence in the neighborhood last night...we were awoken at like 4am to a strange very loud noise outside. We were looking out our windows...it was starting to rain and storm, but that wasn't the noise we heard. So we got dressed and went out the front door to check it out...there was a car parked in a neighbors house a few doors down, and they had their pedal to the metal...for many minutes! It was a horrible sound! Our neighbors were commenting on the facebook page...some were coming outside as well to see. A different neighbor called the police, but it was Good Neighbor Days in Hugo, so they were busy and didn't show up for over an hour. The sound did eventually stop...and we went to bed as it seemed others had it handled. Turns out the cops finally showed up around 6am...the guy was passed out in his car (drunk), there was yelling, he got arrested and his car towed. In all of this, no one ever contacted Tom and Angie who's driveway he was in...but they didn't know him...so it was a random occurrence for sure.
