Happy Birthday Rowan!
I'm not sure at what point she turned into a little lady, but despite the daily struggles of not listening and bossing her brother around...she really is a sweet loveable smart little girl. Stop growing up please.
And even though she loves to boss him around and pick on him, they really do love each other.
She started out the day with Eddie and I singing to her with candles in her sprinkle donut.
Then we headed to the splash pad with the Ross family. So nice of them to spend her special day with her. We appreciate it, and she loves playing with her friends.
Water was a bit chilly, so the minutes actually splashing were quite short.
So we changed into dry clothes and hit up the park for a bit before lunch.
Then Nana took the birthday girl out for lunch at her favorite...Culver's.

Then while we were out playing this afternoon, Rowan's friend Sawyer brought her some flowers for her birthday. Pretty thoughtful I might add.
Then after dinner we had cupcakes that Rowan picked out. I offered to make her a cake or cupcakes, but she wanted to pick them out herself. And of course Eddie had to get in on the candle blowing too. And as you can see, it was a long day and taking pictures was the last thing she wanted to do. But once we started singing to her, the smiles came back.
We have a 6 year old...where has the time gone.
