MN State Fair 2016

Was a perfect day for the fair! Not too hot and no rain!

 

This is our first year doing something like this without a stroller, sad face! So in the back of my mind I was a little nervous...but we survived and the kids did great.

 

Started out seeing some animals!

Then our first food purchases...soft pretzel and cheese curds!

Then onto rides...

Lots more food intermixed...deep fried pickles, cotton candy, ices, maple glazed bacon donut sliders, red sangria lager, Martha's cookies....etc.

Caught part of the parade, checked out the boats and tractors, people watched from the beer tower, found Gizmo in the crowd, then headed home. We were there for many hours and the kids did great. Occasional need to sit and rest or ride on shoulders...but well done.
