Started our day at the Como Zoo. Was a cloudy but still steamy day. The sun didn't come out much, but when it did it was scorching. Kids got to check out the animals, have an icee and then we headed home to rest in the air conditioning.
We are so thankful for our friends Jess and Brian offering us tickets to the Twins game tonight. Brian was gone for work and Jess didn't want to go. So the kids and I got to go to our first Twins game. Ed has been to one before with work people. It was fun...but still hot despite the time of day. Humid I should say. Kids had fun and didn't want to leave, but we headed home in the 7th inning. We got to try some sliders, pretzel and cheese, fries, pop and beer. And that was after eating dinner at home. Wanted ice cream, but it was melting way to fast in the heat that it wouldn't be worth the million dollars it would cost.
