Our morning started off pretty productive around the house...then we headed out on the ice about 11am. There were a few kids out playing some hockey already and Eddie loved it. So when we had to head in for lunch before his friend Cooper came over to play, he wasn't happy. He had so much fun playing with Camden, TJ and Gavin! Hopefully it'll work out for them to do it again before winter is over.
Eddie had a quick lunch before Cooper joined us to play for a few hours. These boys played awesome together. No fighting, bickering, asking for us to play with them, just pure boy play time. And of course when his Mom arrived to pick him up, he didn't want to leave! Cooper is one of Eddie's friends from school and he has been asking to play with him forever! So glad we finally did and it went so well!
Then about 3pm, Rowan's friend Avery came over to play...and as you can see that play date turned into a sleepover. These girls on the other hand had a much different play date! They got along fine, but they were constantly where we were asking to play games and want us to entertain them. Not sure if it is an age thing or a gender thing? They did play in the snow a bit, and did some gymnastics together...but we played many games with them as well.
