Vero Beach sun

Today we hit up the beach. We parked our butts in front of a great bar/restaurant, and were able to secure a couple chairs and umbrellas (for a price of course)...and enjoyed the sand between our toes. The weather was perfect for the beach...probably a bit danger. Because of the breeze it didn't seem that hot, but a few of us burnt a bit.
The ocean has a way of taking you under...I learned the hard way. Ended up with a head/body full of shell shrapnel.
This guy sat in the sun all day...so you can tell the breeze took the heat way.
This was before I was taken under by a few waves...
 Father and the ladies.
Wave jumping for the old guys.
Some more Go Pro action shots.
 Selfie with my Hun.
Searching for some shells to take home to the kids.
The wave jumping aftermath...shells galore.
Sun and day drinking leads to needing a nap.
Once again the kids are in good hands. Eating dinner before heading the Talent Show at Cushing.
Papa helping Rowan tie her tie. She is doing a Harry Potter skit with her friends, and she is Ron Weasley.
Clearly Ron wasn't feeling a picture tonight.
After Ed's little cat nap, we were headed over to Tim and Jean's for dinner. Italian dinner and hanging out at their place, some yard games and drinks. Uncle Tim was at the rehearsal dinner so we got to hang out with Jean and invade her space. Great dinner and time had by all. Not enough pictures to do it justice. But proof we were there.
