MG started...Fall warm up

Eddie is doing a Fall camp through Miracle Gold...but it started today and goes through September. 1.5 hours on the ice; 1-2 times a week in Blaine at the Schwan's Super Rink.

heading home

The birthday that keeps on giving...Aunt Amanda and Uncle Petey sent her card home with her today. So she opened it right away in the car. Nothing better than money for Target.

Grandma and Grandpa got the kids these new blankets at the M&M store when they were in New York...and they built a fort in the car on the drive home. Perfect entertainment.

Started our day on the golf course...Picked numbers for teams; and boy did I get lucky with a fun team. We may not have taken first place in score...but in fun we did. Colin managed to bust up one of our carts...laughing so hard I was crying. Mitchell showed up to surprise us all...I had a feeling. He took pregnant Amanda's spot...

While us adults were golfing, Nana and Papa took the kids for some fun of their own. They went mini golfing, go carting, lunch out. busy busy.

When golf was over we headed back to Nana and Papa's to pick up the kids to go to Brad and Cheryl's for an afternoon of fun. Swimming, washers tournament, food and drinks, you name it.

In one of my washer tournament games...I got a ledger and won the whole game for my team. Lance and I were teammates and did well...but didn't win it all. Ed and Brad were the tournament champions.

What is Christmas without a few gifts...kids were spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa like usual.

Rowan had prepared by making many many bracelets to share with her second cousins...and the adults wanted them more than the kids. They even helped her to make some more.

We made it...

to our favorite destination location....Wisconsin!!

We are home this weekend for Christmas in July. But we started our night out for drinks and appetizers with Casey, Jake, Nana and Papa. Then we headed home to get the dogs and get some ice cream at the Kiltie. Then back to Nana and Papa's for a fire.

weekday business

Took an early morning walk today before work and found this little duck family together.

Rowan was giving bracelet making lessons to E this morning as well.

Then this evening we headed to the driving range! Rowan finally got to use her new clubs from Christmas. And I got to dust mine off and see if I could hit anything. Ed and I are golfing in the Hanson family outing next weekend for Christmas in July. Would like to hit a ball or two before that. Kids did a great job!!

her pastime

Sometimes I feel like her coaches see her more than I do these days...but she is loving it.

This kid...always adding to his wish list. Went to get skates sharpened and he always finds something else he thinks he needs. Told him we would put is on his list of wants. There will come a time when he breaks sticks and needs multiple...but until then; we are good with one.

never gets old...

Actually the ice cream truck in our neighborhood is getting a little old...clearly he has found the jackpot and keeps coming back. Was fun the first time or two...now it's just expensive.

And what's another Sunday night without WWE in your underwear. This kid has decided that pajamas are optional...but when you shower before 7pm...and put your 'pajamas' on...it's little awkward when people come to the door. But when you are rocking your WWE gear...it's all good.
