KM B-ball tourney...then hockey fun

Started out our morning at KM high school playing some basketball. Hard to believe that the season is over after today. No more Monday night practice...and Saturday am games. Eddie has loved playing with the 3rd and 4th graders and his coach (Kris Kiesgan) has been great also.
The tournament was just in-house, so the 4 teams of 3rd and 4th graders. They ended up taking 3rd place.
Then we were off to Eble...for some hockey.
This tournament was also pretty much in-house...3 Warhawk teams and a few others.
Paid 10$ to have Eddie's picture taken while playing this weekend, then we can decide if or what we want to purchase of the pictures taken.

Here are a few.
When helping Eddie get his gear off today...found this gem on his leg. Apparently this happened in practice earlier in the week. Either a puck or stick to the leg...fun colored war wound for sure.
After the game we ended up heading to Raised Grain brewery for some dinner with the team. We were planning on just going home...but had our arm twisted last minute. I dropped the kids and Ed off and then headed home to grab Ed's hockey gear because he had a game tonight also.
So we enjoyed some fun with the team then went to Eble to watch Ed's game.

downfall of snow...V-day too

Shovelling not only the driveway...but the rink too. But this kid is thrilled to have another night of skating!!
Happy Valentine's Day to all!!
Started our crazy weekend with a hockey game...first one of the Warhawk tournament for the weekend. Brough home a win with a shootout...and Eddie scored the winning shootout goal. Only got a video that isn't ideal to post here. More pictures to come of our tournament weekend (basketball and hockey!)

KM Choir festival

Tonight was Rowan's choir festival...it was 6-12th grade.
Weather wasn't ideal again today, so only Grandpa and Grandma were brave enough to join us. And we greatly appreciate that!
When Dad gets you on snapchat!
Rowan tried to hide from us if felt like...but we found her!
 All choirs, 6-12 grade.

weekend recap

A Friday night dinner with family for Grannie's birthday!! Mexican!
 Saturday morning hockey and basketball!!
Had the afternoon free, so Rowan had a friend over, and Eddie went to his friend Patrick's house for a few hours!
Evening, we enjoyed a little relaxation before a busy Sunday!
Clearly we are boring Gizmo to death!
My amaryllis are finally blooming...getting a little top heavy.
Sunday we are back on the ice...
Today, Blake wasn't sure of Eddie with a helmet on. Wouldn't go near him for a picture.
Then we headed downtown Milwaukee, for the Harley Meet!
Floor 8.775, Vault 8.1, Bars 9.2, Beam 9.0 AA35.075 (2nd place)
I will say, they do an awesome job on medals and gear for our home meets.
Eddie enjoyed a Maui Wauwi!
 Team did great!
Of course is snowed a bunch during the meet. Drive home was a bit dicey...we didn't even take the highway because it was essentially closed as traffic was stopped. So we took Capitol Drive home...some cars were getting stuck just going up minor hills. So the kids both caught a little nap on the ride home.
Got Eddie's Valentine's ready this weekend too...first year I haven't had to help with 2 sets of Valentines. Middle schoolers are too cool for them apparently.
So glad for the family time...was a big weekend and we have family join us for each and every step of it. Truly blessed.
