KM Choir festival

Tonight was Rowan's choir festival...it was 6-12th grade.
Weather wasn't ideal again today, so only Grandpa and Grandma were brave enough to join us. And we greatly appreciate that!
When Dad gets you on snapchat!
Rowan tried to hide from us if felt like...but we found her!
 All choirs, 6-12 grade.

weekend recap

A Friday night dinner with family for Grannie's birthday!! Mexican!
 Saturday morning hockey and basketball!!
Had the afternoon free, so Rowan had a friend over, and Eddie went to his friend Patrick's house for a few hours!
Evening, we enjoyed a little relaxation before a busy Sunday!
Clearly we are boring Gizmo to death!
My amaryllis are finally blooming...getting a little top heavy.
Sunday we are back on the ice...
Today, Blake wasn't sure of Eddie with a helmet on. Wouldn't go near him for a picture.
Then we headed downtown Milwaukee, for the Harley Meet!
Floor 8.775, Vault 8.1, Bars 9.2, Beam 9.0 AA35.075 (2nd place)
I will say, they do an awesome job on medals and gear for our home meets.
Eddie enjoyed a Maui Wauwi!
 Team did great!
Of course is snowed a bunch during the meet. Drive home was a bit dicey...we didn't even take the highway because it was essentially closed as traffic was stopped. So we took Capitol Drive home...some cars were getting stuck just going up minor hills. So the kids both caught a little nap on the ride home.
Got Eddie's Valentine's ready this weekend too...first year I haven't had to help with 2 sets of Valentines. Middle schoolers are too cool for them apparently.
So glad for the family time...was a big weekend and we have family join us for each and every step of it. Truly blessed.

derm appt f/u

Today, Eddie was seen by a pediatric dermatologist for follow up on his moloscum. After our first appointment last year, we took the conservative route and were going to apply OTC medication daily to try to get rid of these. Well, we weren't the most compliant with the 35$ bottle...and they are spreading. So today, I took him back to do a more invasive option. We could 'freeze' them off, but that is topical and only addresses the bump treated...so we went the yeast injection route. You inject 2 of the bumps with yeast, it gets into your blood stream and attacks the virus itself and will eventually assist in them all resolving. Today was the first injection...knowing that it will take more than one treatment more than likely. Pictures are in hopes we can compare in future to see the progress. These are the two that were injected...but there are at least 15 more on his body...stay tuned.

Another fun weekend of hockey in the books. We were back today for more fun.
And Aunt Jill joined us from Belvidere IL, less than an hour drive to see some hockey.

janesville to MKE

Started out our morning playing hockey in Janesville tournament this am.
Had some lunch with the team between games...
Then we headed home for the night since the drive is less than an hour.

We were able to get Eddie a shower and then headed downtown Milwaukee to watch Kelsie Pitcher play volleyball and catch up with Chad and Kate. They were running behind so we got to watch 2 matches actually. The kids had fun volleying with Kate and eating snacks that Chad kept buying them.
