Mid September happenings

Yearly vet visit for Piper - weighing in a 19 lbs.
Otherwise a clean bill of health.

First games for MJA this weekend.
Another weekend of WEHL - complete with a team lunch and some volleyball in between.
Boys got their share of team time too.
On Sept 14th, Ed had a lipoma removed from his neck at Waukesha Memorial.
Was a day surgery, where they did put him fully under due to the positioning needs to access his neck.
He did great - sutures are dissolvable.
Before heading to surgery, the Explorer was towed from our garage as we noticed it leaking a large amount of fluid the previous night. Always something.
While playing in IL the following weekend (9/17) the fire alarm went off and caused them to evacuate the rink. Nothing like hanging outside in your gear for awhile.
We were also watching Twiggy for a couple days - but the boys got to visit with Dusty, Julie and Hudson for a bit between games, and were even fed too.
Finally got Eddie's 'Show' pictures hung on his wall.
Great walk with Piper in the morning before heading to the Dells to visit Grandma and Grandpa ahead of two games in Lake Delton. Rowan drove me there (most of the way) so that was fun too.
Grandma, Rowan and I went out to dinner Friday night at the Golf course. Then a couple games Saturday before heading home. Sadly I caught a case of bed bugs after spending the night - was a rough couple itchy days following.
