July 6th...fireworks

We started the morning with a family fishing trip! 

Was very peaceful and calm out there! 

Normally Rowan doesn't want to go fishing, but she wanted to come spend some time with us. She didn't last long with a pole in her hand...but that is fine!

Always wants to measure his fish!

 Entertaining herself so we can fish a little longer!

 I even caught one! A super big one! And you can see Fish and Chico in the background fishing!

Then we took the kids tubing for a bit!

Tried to enjoy the afternoon on the lake, therefore not many pictures. But did try to get a sunset picture with the kids!

 Pretty successful if you ask me.

We have started watching fireworks from our boat...so we left a little early and boated down to Bauer's Dam. Ed and I got a drink to go, and the kids got root beer floats!

We took our treasures and found a spot for fireworks just off shore!

Amazing sunset view! Glad we could finally light off fireworks tonight. Was a great family night in the boat.
