new stuff and sleepy

Well, we finally sprung and got a new couch for the loft and a new mattress. We decided to try a memory foam mattress...wish us luck. 

And then this is what I dealt with after MG for Eddie tonight. How come I never get the nap?

Today after school Rowan and I headed to Abrahamson's Nursery to start shopping for plants, trees and shrubs for our landscape. And we came home with a truck full. This stress called for a dinner trip to Fiesta Cancun.

And sometimes Snapchat takes over our meal...appropriate or not?!

When you daughter takes a snapchat about you and comments on the # of margaritas you are having. Someone better teach her that we don't count such things.

Rowan's class went on a field trip today. She was with her friend Mallory and her mom Sharon. So Sharon sent me this pic!! So cute.

And this stud brought home these keepers for his school pictures today!! He looks so grown up.

Just another imperfect day with children. Just trying to take a quick nice picture at breakfast with Grandpa and Grandma...but we had a crabby patty. So...this is what you get!

Tried to enjoy the nice day...starting with the park.

Then we prepped some dinner this afternoon...

A day in September that we are able to run through sprinklers and play in the pool...doesn't happen every day.

Even more fun when your neighbor friends join in!!

Starting our Saturday with visitors!! Grandpa Bill, Grandma Pam and Willet!

They are here to enjoy this busy Saturday....soccer to start!

 Gymnastics meet prep....first step is hair!

And here we got for meet #1 for our level 3 gymnast! 

 Most fan grams....Wow! These are all of Rowan's fan grams from her family. I didn't realize that she got candy and goodies with every one. So when I asked our family if they wanted to send her some words...she got more than just that.

Then it was onto the meet...every event completed with lots of time in between. Not sure we are cut out for these gymnastics meets. Good thing Eddie had his iPad along.

She did very well for her first meet. They don't actually get scored at this level; just get feedback from a coach. We went with a candy bouquet this time instead of flowers. Had we known she was going to get all of that candy with her fan grams we would have gone another route. Oh well!!
