Run Club and swim lessons! Eddie and I got to volunteer for Run Club too. Essentially we showed up and ran with the kids. Kept them in line and helped where needed.

run prep and Spring Soccer

Thanks to Aunt Karen, Rowan is all ready for run club and the color run next month!

Spring Soccer started this morning...and I was a co-coach for Eddie's team. Decided I might as well volunteer my time since I would be at every game anyways. And being they were on Saturday's Ed would be available for Rowan.

Was a very chilly start to the season! Hats and gloves all around!

Eddie did a great job! He got out there and went for the ball and participated like a champ!

Eddie is all prepared to start soccer tomorrow with an award winning coach for Spring!

Then we had an impromptu lunch with Uncle Mitch!

Pretty sure it was just a couple days ago when we had shorts and tanks on...and now it snowed today! Only in the Midwest! Can't even blame this on MN...happened in WI too.

We had some family in town that we got to visit in Minneapolis! Ed's cousin Kelly and her family were in MN for Maddie's volleyball tournament! So we got to go watch Maddie play, hang out, and have a late lunch together too! Such a fun afternoon catching up with great people! So glad they let us know they were here and took the time to spend with us.

After we returned from our afternoon downtown, we caught up with the neighbors outside. We had to take a selfie to send to Dusty and Julie because they were at bacon fest having some beers, so we had to share our beverage selections with them!

Late nights in the neighborhood usually end up with dangerous golf cart rides and pics too.

I always love Eddie's before and after haircut pictures! He always looks so grown up afterwards.

Can't waste a sunny day inside...so we grabbed neighbor Drew and headed to the park for some fun.

I seriously left home an hour before this fire started...rumor has it, 2 girls ran from the bridge yelling 'fire'? So not sure how it started, but it spread fast! I took Eddie to school, ran some errands, and while waiting to pick Eddie up from school was looking at facebook and found posts from my neighbors like this! So scary. Thankfully no homes were damaged, even if we do live on the other side of the street, still too close to home!

When I returned home the kids and I walked up the court to see the damage, so crazy.

Swim lessons are back in session...shaking in the pool once again!

toasty april day

Hard to believe that we had the shorts and tanks out in MN on an April day today...but we lived it up while we could.

1st Grade music concert

Tonight was the 1st grade music concert at Hugo Elementary. They did singing and dancing for all to watch. Rowan did a great job! Good thing we practiced all these songs. They also got to show us their skills with instruments!

They were instructed to wear dark bottoms and a solid color top...wasn't as easy as you would think. And after all the thought we put into it...you should've seen what some parents sent their kids in! Oh well, at least mine looked cute and followed the rules.
