Eddie and I headed to Notre Dame for the weekend!

NYE and Day

NYE we spent at home, Rowan had the girls over - we grilled pizza and dessert - pretty low key. 

NY Day, we spent some time with Karen and Doug at breakfast and exchanging gifts. 

They are Pipers favorite people (after me of course). 

Busy Christmas week

We started our Christmas celebrations on 12/22-12/23 with The Smiths, at our house this year (due to Nana and Papa’s upstairs construction) - and it worked out great. We had a bubble hockey tournament - somehow Ed and I won, I take zero credit. 

Christmas Eve we were off to celebrate with the Knutson Family!!

Then home on Christmas Day as a family to start, and invited Granny/Gramps, Nana/Papa for afternooon/dinner.

And our annual gingerbread house competition - seems someone isn’t really into it anymore. 

Eddie went with the all white theme, and sadly it didn’t help his chances. Guess we need to change it up next year. 

Trees, hockey, cookies and more

We have two fully decorated trees, finally. 

Had to replace the basement tree as the lights weren’t all working - pre lit artificial trees haven’t gotten any cheaper. But Stein’s came through with one for us. 

WVU game at home with a W. I took on the Facebook Girls Hockey page this year. It’s been more time consuming that I pictured, especially when there is more than one game a week - and JV and Varsity. 

Always trying to do something new, and be fair with which pictures are used. 

The kids weren’t able to join Blake and Luke for cookie decorating with Granny, so they go theirs to go and got them done this week!! Some interesting creations.
