brrr lake day

Only the crazies went in the lake today.

Kids and Men!

Hudson would only tube on the hamburger with Dusty...so they gave it a try. This ended up with the best ending and most smiles.

Then these kids lived on the edge, only lost them a couple times.

Hudson met Piper today...he loved her.

As you can tell by the look on their faces, this method of riding didn't work out well due to weight and size of the two.

Hang on Eddie!

It was a short day on the lake, but on to the next family activity.

The elementary kids had a soft start the first week of school, meaning only 1/4 of the alphabet went the first 4 days. So Smith didn't go until Friday. He has Mrs. Imig this year. And for sure has one friend in his class, Patrick.

picture day and 1st haircut

Can you believe they made me get a haircut??

Kirsten said she did great! She laid on her lap for part of the haircut even. We just did a trim...but her face/head looks super different. This is an after picture, and a before below.

During...Kirsten even sent a picture of her during her cut.

I had to assist her cut her legs a bit when I picked her up because she kept wanting to just lay down.

1st day of 7th grade

Well, here we go. Attempting face to face school 5 days a week. Masks on the bus and all day when inside and unable to be 6 feet apart. Can take them of to eat too.

back to NY

We got together for a last minute Ice cream trip with the family before Uncle Mitch and Gabby head back to New York. They plan to drive back this week; and return for a family wedding in October. Silly kiddos.
