shooting, puzzles and more

We took a family trip to the Waukesha Gun club today. Rowan and I watched from the car while the boys shot some clay. Eddie got to use his new gun for the first time (was a birthday gift). He got a little discouraged in the beginning but then he nicked one, and then he was off to the races.
Peter stopped by to borrow some paint to try, and he snuck in a quick game of Pig with Eddie. So we all had to come out and say hello.
One more puzzle knocked out...killed this one.

surprises and ducks

Finished another puzzle today...Sweet treats.
Our new normal includes a family walk in the evening...kids are usually on something. Rollerblades usually for Eddie...he was showing us how to walk the duck.
And we were egged today by one of our neighbors.
Sadly we reused many of the items to egg another neighbor...not much around her to give away due to our lack of shopping and this pandemic of quarantine. Also helped us not to eat a bunch of candy.

thankful Thursday

Was busy looking through some old pictures because I was challenged to post mine and Ed's first picture together...this was close to one of the first ones. I was the creator of selfies.
And this is how my kids showed up this morning in my office...wearing each others under garments...over there clothes...very interesting.
Perfect for National Sibling Day soon.

more Art from home

Rowan was challenged by her art teacher to make a shape out of materials from outside. This is what she and I came up with. Think it looks pretty cool actually.

Tuesday talent

On Sunday, I challenged the kids to learn/tackle something each...Rowan had to master her aerial, and Eddie a front tuck or front flip, all on the trampoline.

They had that done today...2 days of work is all it took.
Then we finally we able to get some painters tape (from Nana and Papa)...so we could do the chalk art that the rest of the world has been doing during this quarantine. Turned out pretty awesome.

hard core

These kids are learning a lot for their homeschool Mom...a chore a day keeps the doctor away. OR something like that. Anything to keep them busy and me sane. Sure is nice to have some help with this stuff. Won't last long...but taking advantage while I can.

easter prep

Thankfully I picked up an egg dye kit a few weeks ago when at the store...so this gave the kids something different to do for an hour.
