Wrapping up hockey, PFTs, party time

March 7th - March started with the end of year MJA banquet - this was a first for us. There hasn't been one since Eddie started playing 3 years ago. Not much was shared about the youth boys - more about the older kids - but a free meal - and Admirals game, but we had to head out for Rowan's last practice of fun, another parents/girls/siblings skate. 

March 8th - Eddie has been having problems with his breathing when exerting himself on the ice this season. His MD orders an inhaler, which he has been using and has been working - (4 puffs before games/practice) but it took months to get in and be seen by Pulmonary at Childrens. So here we are, finally a visit with PFT (pulmonary function testing). Nothing crazy was found - essentially exercise induced asthma - we will continue with the inhaler and follow up if new issues arise. 

March 10th - lots of snow arrived, just in time for Eddie's Birthday sleepover. nothing like a few school friends, pizza, snacks, Xbox, knee hockey, and more. 

March 12th - and just like that, rink season is over.

Feb 13th - Band concert time - Baritone time

Feb 14th - Getting some shots in in the garage

Feb 16th - Rowan whips up some chocolate mini waffles - oh yum

Feb 18th - Rowan and Mom are on the road for a tournament weekend...and while we are away, Aunt Cheryl makes it one of Eddie's games - proof in the picture!

Feb 25th - another divide and conquer hockey weekend

Rowan at Mullett and Eddie at Pettit (close but overlapping)

Rowan and I were able to make it to the end of season party at Dave and Buster's though

Feb 27th - boys officially wrapped up with a parents/kids skate. I got to run the clock. Glad the kids were able to join this time - Eddie was sick last year. 

March 4th - when Mom and Eddie do the penalty box and Rowan comes to visit...

Feb 8th - Mammogram time, representing Humana at the outpatient clinic. 

Feb 10th - nothing like a Big Gulp visit to Kwik Trip

Feb 11th - Beaver Dam game at Mullett and MJA playing at Pettit (complete with a Sin bin visit)

Feb 12th - more time in Beaver Dam with Rowan and team

Jan 29th - Brunch for Grandma Julie's birthday prior to heading to Rowan's game!

Jan 30th - we got some snow. 

Jan 31st - Piper living her best life while I work. This is every day. 

Feb 2nd - Boys are in Detroit playing in a Showcase

Feb 2nd - Piper has snow shoes - and she isn't too sure about them

Rink is cleaned off and ready for some hockey after the snowfall. 

Feb 3rd - It's Wear Red Day/Month - filters and Red Wings hoodie for the win. 

Feb 4th - Rowan's team gets together for a pre Playdown meal and fun.

Rest of January in a nutshell

Jan. 9th - Rowan taking selfies in the basement on my phone (sigh - 14 year old girls)

Jan. 10th - Rowan playing in the kitchen, makes a delicious Oreo pie. 

Jan. 14th - Lunch in IL between games with hockey boys. Mesmerized by sports on TVs and carbs.

Just another weekend of games all over SE Wisconsin. The Stoudt's got a little taste. 

Watched Rowan at Mullett and Eddie at Pettit. Both kids visited the Sin Bin. 

Eddie's team did their Volunteer/Giveback activity too. Delivered dinner to the Firefighters in Milwaukee at one of the local stations. 

Better late than never

We finally got around to our Annual Gingerbread house competition today...

This year it was Rowan vs Eddie...and times got tough as you can see by some of the movement of candy. 

The winner was...A (Eddie)
