This girl...is 11 going on 21. Love that she likes fashion..but um, too much skin for an almost 12 year old.

late pool day

Decided to head over to Grandma and Grandpa's late this afternoon to check out the pool. Wasn't the warmest out, but again, kids didn't care. Although they were in and out constantly.

Papa let us take his boat out with one of our favorite families. 

Rowan and Sydney are the same age and get along great!

 Chase and Reece were on Eddie's hockey team the year we moved here...and they all get along awesome too.

Then there is Kelly and Chris...and we love hanging out with them. They move to WI in July, so a few months before us!

Kids had a blast..despite the cool breeze and chilly water. Kids don't care.

 Family fun that could last for days. 

 

After the lake, we headed to our house and ate our subs (that we had intended to have on the boat, but it got to chilly), had an early fire, and an early bed. All of use were wiped from all of the sun and fresh air. Can't wait until the next time.

Our plan was to plant these tonight and tomorrow. But I ended up getting 4 hours of PTO granted, so the kids and I did 90% of it before Ed got home. And we finished it up together. Now we can play tomorrow longer than we thought.

Last day of Virtual Learning!

Technically the last day of school is June 10th...but there isn't any new work for next week. So today is a great day for pictures!

Trying to get pictures of these two you would think would be easy at 9 and almost 12 y.o. Not so much. But this made for a pretty funny progression...and shows their personalities.

house keeping

We had our carpets, rugs, and couches cleaned today! Might be the first time I have ever used a professional for it ever. Kind of gross...but we also haven't lived in a house for more than 4 years...but still. Turning over a new leaf here. 

Also, prepping for Ed's Birthday/Father's Day gift...stay tuned!

Have had this grill since we got married...almost 14 years ago. It's had a good ride, but it's time.

Grandma Julie helped us start adding some decor to the kids rooms. Printed some sports pics! 

We watched Twiggy for the day for Nana and Papa. Took a couple walks, and she relaxed too. Hard for Nana to believe that she survives without her. 

 When it is 90 on a Tuesday, you go out on the lake with Nana and Papa! Twiggy even got in for a first time swim!

 Eddie had a long over due Dermatology follow up appointment for his moloscum. They have been increasing in number thanks to having to miss our March appt d/t Covid. But we hopefully will get back on track with the treatment now. Had 2 injections of yeast to start the process. Things sure look different in the clinic d/t Covid also...
