neighborhood fun

We made it home late afternoon, with enough time for the kids to have some water fun with some of their friends close by!

Clubs...Stoudt Shower and Mitch Grad Party

When we arrived at Nana and Papa's last night, they had a surprise for Eddie! His very own golf clubs! He is so excited to go golfing with Dad and Papa today!

While they are off having fun, Rowan and I got to have some fun of our own! We went to Amanda's 3rd and final bridal shower! Such a perfect location and great company!

We got to make bridal gowns our of toilet paper. Rowan didn't want to play at first...but then when all was over, she wanted a dress of her own, so some of the girls dressed her up. That is why she isn't in the group photo below.

After the shower, it was on to Grandma and Grandpa Knutson's house for Uncle Mitch's graduation/going away party! I got to snuggle Colter a bit!

We got to see Great Grandma Audrey and take some pics with her and the great grandkids that were there for the party.

After the party, we headed back to hang out with Nana and Papa some more. We headed to the Kiltie for a late evening snack and ice cream. Then a quick bonfire too!

Can't forget this battleship game that I beat Ed at!

Another fun filled weekend in WI...back to the grind and on the road home tomorrow!

Very proud of the accomplishment today...ran over 6 miles for probably the first time in my life! Ideally I would like to make this a regular distance in my routine...but we will see what the future holds.

And it was warm enough to wash the car ourselves today! Don't want to waste money on a car wash when we will be on the road this weekend getting it full of bugs again.

Today my brother graduated from the University of MN! He has accepted a job in NYC and will be moving there as of June 1! So today we will enjoy his last night staying in MN! We will be back to WI next weekend for a graduation party and going away party!

Then we headed to Fiesta Cancun for dinner to celebrate Mitch's graduation. Margarita's were delish.

We really didn't do a ton today...thus the lack of pictures! But Ed did smoke us some ribs for dinner! And we had a few beverages...but otherwise we kind of laid low and hung out.
