Frozen

Today we got to go to the movies with Grandma Julie and Aunt Amanda. 2nd movie ever, and was better than the last time. Eddie didn't sit still but he just moved between all of our laps and was content. And I think Rowan only had to take one trip to the bathroom this time. Improvements all around. And a super cute movie too.

1st pair of skates

Tonight Rowan showed off her 1st pair of her own skates courtesy of Nana and Papa. They found her a pair of purple and white ones while in Illinois. But...they are hockey skates. So she doesn't have the teeth in the front that she is clearly quite used to. She fell more on the ice tonight than she has fallen in the last 5 weeks of class. Although we offered to change her back into rentals and she didn't want to. So she really did give it her all...but I think we are going to exchange them for a pair of figure skates.

Art party

Rowan was invited to Lily's birthday party...and it was so cute! It was an art party in Oconomowoc where the kids got to do their own art piece and had ice cream sundaes. And they got their faces painted too. Rowan did a pretty good job following directions. Of course Lily's Mom had awesome little favors (not so little) for all the girls too. Such fun. I think we may need to branch out from the home birthday parties pretty soon.

cookies, Rudy and Buster...

Today we made a few different Christmas cookies! Wreaths, peanut butter cups, and peppermint cake batter cookies. Kids were interested for a bit...then just wanted to taste test instead. Perfectly fine.

Rudy and his friend joined us a few days ago...apparently Rudy felt he needs help keeping his eye on these little rascals, so he brought reinforcements. His friends became Buster. Hope they are ready to work as these kids aren't exactly perfect angels all the time.

St. Nick found them...

...a day early by accident. I guess they were so good that St. Nick got the date mixed up and luckily came early and not late. Lucky little buggers.
