How come Eddie is smiling and cooperating in most of these pictures, but Rowan can't smile once for the camera! Toddlers!

Another building permit...

We are onto our second building permit while living in this house! First one was to finish the bedroom in the basement. And now we have decided to move on to the other half of the basement (for now anyway). It is going to be a big open rec room/playroom. We don't have any space for a playroom on the main floor, so we are hoping to be able to better contain and organize the kids stuff in the basement. So that will probably become our main living space eventually, but we will see.

Down the road we are hoping/planning on doing a full bathroom in the basement as well, but that is last on the list right now!

Such a good big sister!

Stud Muffin

This hat is a bit too big for Eddie, but Rowan has been wearing it around. So I decided to have Eddie wear it (it is a hand-me-down from Breyson and Sawyer) And he just looks too darn cute.

On a side note, Rowan told me that I couldn't call Eddie 'stud muffin' because it isn't his name. So I told her I was gonna call her 'princess', and she said, "you can call me princess". So now I am allowed to call Eddie stud muffin, but whenever I do, she says, you can call me Princess! Too funny!

the dentist

Rowan was at the dentist today for her cleaning and check up. And she did awesome! She needed no reinforcement from me. She did everything that they asked her too, and she sat still the entire time. And they said her teeth look good. The only thing we need to do is start some fluoride rinse (dipping her toothbrush in it!) She could get better at the teeth brushing in my mind too, but there is always room for improvement!
