August fun

Been a week of fun and sadness. 

Our anniversary is now shared with Great Grandma Audrey's passing. But an amazing woman lived 93 years on this earth and left quite a legacy behind. She is now able to join Grandpa Ray after 33 years. 

Some of us grandkids gathered at Casey's during the week to put together picture boards for her funeral the following weekend. 

Rowan, Karen, Grandma Pam and I had a spa day at Sundara together last weekend. We drove up Saturday, spent the day at the spa, did a little outlet shopping, pizza, spent the night and headed home Sunday Morning. 

Kids wrapped up summer hockey camp last week. 

While Rowan and I were away, Ed and Eddie added a few more TVs to the theatre room. 

Ultimate gaming experience now. 

Rowan started pre-season skates at Nag. 

Ed and I were able to catch a Brewer game with Grandma and Grandpa. 

Weather was perfect for some tailgating, too bad we didn't catch a Brewer win. 

Anniversary week and more

Ed and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary this week - decided to take the kids to a new restaurant downtown Milwaukee. Rodizio Grill (brazillian steakhouse). They walk around with meat on sticks and you cut off what you want. There is also a 'salad bar' with many different options too. 

It was a very different experience, we overate, hopefully enough to make the cost worth it. 

Rowan continues to make new tumblers. 

Kids custom hats arrived. 

We got in another swim and ice cream trip downtown Pewaukee with Blake and Luke. 

Eddie has had band camp this week and is starting to learn how to play his baritone.

Ed spoiled me/us with Crumbl cookies and ice cream too. 

Full weekend in MN

Both kids played in tournaments in MN this weekend. We took one car and made it work. Stayed in hotel with Eddie's team because it was more centralized than Rowan's team. 

Boys came home with 3rd place, Girls made memories and had great competition. 

Valley Fair fun

We have a weekend full of hockey ahead of us, but we started out the fun on Thursday at Valleyfair with some friends. The Sorkness family had intended to just borrow our kids for the day of fun, but Ed and I decided to crash it and join in. Weather was great, kids did rides and water park for a bit too. 

Turns out we share a wedding anniversary week with the Jesse and Mandi - so we had some beers together to celebrate. Oh and got soaked on a water ride together too. Always a good time. 

Got a run in before our trip to MN and had some deer friends next door with a great sunrise. 

Another week

This last week, we got some boat time, had dinner as a family complete with a beer runner. 

Rowan and Eddie got some lake time with their cousins who came to visit during the week. 

And it's almost officially MJA season. 

Bag tags made, Rowan is off and running with her tumbler sales.
