sickness, Ace and Spidey

Some finishing touches on the basement, shower fixtures, TVs, faucets, lighting, toilets. We are so close. 

Rowan went to work at Ace Hardware with Karen again! She is loving it. Even getting into the workplace drama with the ladies. Haha. 

Celebrated a cute little 3 year old! Half birthday this year because the poor kiddo hasn't had a birthday party yet thanks to COVID. 

Speaking of COVID, Eddie was a bit under the weather this week so we took a home test, thankfully it was short lived symptoms and test was negative.

In the last few days we managed another lake day, with skiing, Piper swim time and of course some tubing. It isn't quite warm enough to just swim (for a lengthy period of time at least)...I was good supervising from the boat.

More tumblers created -- lawn mowing with beer in hand. A great evening on the lake for a boat ride (when Nana and Papa are away, we will play). Papa managed to join us last weekend for some dessert after baseball. 

OH and this week, Coach Conner had a men's league hockey game at the Ponds - so we met the Sorkness boys at the rink for some entertainment. 

And wouldn't be a weekend dinner without a meal at the 5 O'clock club. Uncle Tim was in town after flying back with Grandma Audrey, so we met them to visit for a drink.

Friday was Ed's birthday, so wouldn't be right not to celebrate with a dessert of some nature. 

Then it was time for some more baseball, tournament style. Local enough to have some fans. 

Last day of 5th grade

And this boy - done with Elementary school and onto Middle school.

I can hardly believe that the school year is wrapping up, and even more so that this girl is going to be in High School next year. 

So proud of her - middle school is complete - bring on Freshman year. 

After graduation this morning - it was onto an afternoon of fun with her friends. Then off to the 8th grade dance. 

He made it - MJA 2011

Today was try out day, and Eddie made the MJA team for year 3! 

Excited for another year of competitive hockey with a few new families - but thankful for another year with our hockey families of old too. 

Gear ordered and a few new throw pillows - all of this totally goes together. 

Rowan got to go to a Brewer game with Grandma and Grandpa, and somehow managed a selfie.

5th grade track meet success - while I wasn't able to attend in person, I was able to tap into some other school pictures available. Was able to snag some 5th grade class pictures and also see him in action running. Weather was conducive for a short run thankfully. 

Dusty, Julie and Hudson came for a quick visit and weather was decent enough for a quick boat ride and some tubing. Only for the crazy kids though, it was definitely not warm enough for me to be in the water yet. 

And of course back at the baseball field for a bit too.
