15 years - in Mexico

We just returned from a glorious week long adult only vacation at Secrets Maroma (Playa del Carmen, Mexico)! We enjoyed many meals, sunsets, adult beverages, pool and beach volleyball, and hours of relaxation in the last week. We celebrate 15 years of marriage in 2021 - so this was our gift to each other. Poolside lunch delivery for the ultimate win. Are we old when we are up early enough to save seats by the pool, and in bed before the partying starts?? Perfect vacation for us - minus some GI upset late in the week for Ed. COVID only affected us wearing masks on the plane/in airport, to and from restaurants, and COVID testing to get home...but beyond that - trip was normal. Staff was required to wear masks (which was crazy in the 80 degree weather by the pool) unless they were in the pool.

Eddie spent the night in Pleasant Prairie with Lane. They were busy. 

March goes on

Mom is pushing Cricut projects on others. 

Thankfully Eddie is still willing to participate.

I made Amanda buy some tshirts for the boys so I could make them a few. 

And then there is my office partner, sleeping on the job!

Birthday boy

Eddie is 10!

This is what his birthday looked like (or at least the weekend)

COVID friendly party - 2 kids for a few hours for pizza, snacks and electronics. They played about 10 minutes of basketball - but does that really count. 

We went out for breakfast on his birthday, and had short visits with many family.

The kids and I illegally stopped by for a visit with Great Grandma. 

On the weekend there isn't anyone in the office of her Senior living apartment, so they can't turn us away. We stopped for a quick catch up, socially distanced except for a quick picture. 

Much needed for all. 

9 months old

Outdoor rink season is over...and Piper is 9 months old and got a fresh cut!

This is what 9 months looks like - 21 lbs, eats 1/2 raw meat and 1/2 freeze dried kibble. Poops 3x/day - accident free for quite some time. Sleeps in someones bed every night - usually every other night with the kids, randomly with us. Still goes in a crate when we are gone. We have started using a choke collar for walks - because she likes to lead and is all over the place. She is a little skiddish at times outside, but is a calm cuddler. Plays well with other dogs. Her only naughty moment is when playing she chases the kids and nips at their calves.

A day in the life - crazy hair, puffy eyes that thankfully didn't amount to anything. Couch snuggles - dog up in my stuff, and puppy kisses.

We Skied!!

We have been trying to get to Sunburst with the Tetzlaff's all winter, but we were always busy with hockey, and then it was sub zero, and then they were busy with dance. 

So. finally, we just went by ourselves to give skiing a try. 

We took a 1.5 hour lesson, rented gear, and had fun. Thankfully it was a warmish day, but sadly we won't be able to return this season and will hopefully retain what we learned next year. 

Mom was the worst of the group, fell a couple times and couldn't grasp turning to the right, but the rest of the family did awesome. I will get it next year.
