Full crowd for last game

Today was Rowan's last game at Mullett! Eddie and Landyn came along to cheer the girls on.
Fun season for these girls despite the lack of normalcy - dressing in the car, parking lots, going in fully dressed, cleaning locker rooms. Hoping for a different 2021 season! Some of the team is moving up d/t age and some staying - excited for another year of Rowan on the ice. Bring on Spring and Summer skating.

last weekend on the ice

Hard to believe that our hockey seasons happened - and were full seasons.
Eddie's team played 60+ games - and a normal season is 40. They kept adding on games in case the rest of the season would get cancelled, and that never happened.

Rowan's team got to play outside at Cahill Park against Milwaukee Winter Club today.
Weather was glorious for being outside but not good for keeping ice frozen. They played with a running clock and were the last game of the day (at 10:30am) because the ice was getting slushy fast. Was a fun experience for the girls.
Because Rowan's game was fast moving, we were able to make it to Eddie's 12p game on time - thankfully because I had penalty box duty. AND the Pettit finally is allowing spectators in to watch. Last minute, our team manager let us know she had open spectator spots, so we were able to use them and get Grandparents in to watch the last weekend of the season. He had 2 games, one at noon and the other at 5:15p...so worked out well. In between games we had lunch at the Sail Loft with the team.

snow, rink and braces

Finally warm enough to enjoy some time outside - Rink is shoveled yet again and ready to go.
Eddie gets dressed in the dark every day - or i would like to think.

Rowan got braces today!
Plan is 18 months total. Top braces for now - after a few months she will get a bite block like pictured below - and then towards the last few months bottom braces too. Eddie was also evaluated for braces a couple weeks ago - and will need them eventually also. But they said to bring him back in a couple years when he has lost most of his teeth. So that gives us time to get Rowan out of braces before Eddie starts.

Green Bay and Columbus

Rowan and I were in Green Bay for a tournament this weekend. They fell short of making it to the championship game - but had a great time with lots of memories.

We helped make the door decor - using our Cricut.
Rowan and Sydney read together on our way up Friday via facetime.
We had take out Olive Garden Friday night - and went out to dinner with a couple families Saturday night at 1919 Kitchen and Tap in Lambeau Field.

When Mom doesn't get to watch Eddie, there aren't many pictures - doesn't help that Ed is on the bench. But Ed and Eddie were in Columbus OH all weekend. Of course there was snow Sunday, so it was a long drive home (longer than normal anyway). But they made it safe and sound.

Galentine's

When the boys are away...the Gal's will play.

Ed and Eddie were in Fort Wayne for the weekend playing - boys are doing a Valentine exchange. I almost thought we were going without Valentine's this year, but was able to pull something together last minute for a team exchange. I had ordered Eddie's shirt before we got the cricut - or i could have made it myself. Instead I made Blake and Luke shirts instead.

Piper looked super cute with her pink bow!

long winter

Thankful for some cool views in Winter in WI - but man, snow is getting old.
Nothing has melted since it started snowing the first week of January.
Rowan did some art work - she had to dress like an artist - she done good.

More Cricut fun - and a boy that misses his Mom. It's been a lot of weekends away for the boys.

Row and I were at Nag and Mullett this weekend - stuck close to home.
Piper appreciates that.
