Mid-week ride

Sure is nice to drive to Nana and Papa's and get a couple hours in on the lake during the week. Great weather tonight and not busy.

Today Rowan and I were able to spend time in the pool and on the lake. 

Pool fun at Grandma and Grandpa's, with Mitch and Gabby. 

And some Lake time with Nana, Papa, Zach and Aubrey.

fun Friday

I took today off initially because we all thought we would be doing to North Dakota...but then because of corona virus, we decided not all of use should go. The unknown of knowing if we could all get into the game to watch, and what we would do between games while social distancing, etc...wasn't worth the 8 hour drive. So Rowan and I spent our off day doing other things...

We stopped by Amanda and the boys...played outside a bit, Rowan got her birthday gift early so she could use it up north next week. 

And we did some shopping. Joann fabrics for the win for a snuffle mat for our pup, and pillows for the new patio set in front. Thanks Nana for the labor. 

thankful Thursday

We got some furniture out on our front patio!! Love seat and two chairs. Weather was great for it today...soemtimes the sun beat down in the late afternoon and it's unbearable. Other times, it's perfect. 

Ed and Eddie are heading to North Dakota for the weekend for a hockey tournament with the 2010 Evictors Team. Was looking at the tournament website and found that Eddie is listed as a player to watching the 2010 division (he is a 2011, playing up!!) Pretty awesome.

Last night, Eddie did his coke and mentos experiment he got from his cousins for his birthday. Thankful for the open lot next door to take the brunt of the soda mess. 

8 hours later...they arrived North Dakota and even had time for a team (multiple age groups) dinner. 

And even more exciting...we have received puppy pictures. There are several girls to choose from, but this is the one we are leaning towards. It is the only one that is merle (tri-color). Decision to come by end of weekend. 

Birthday time

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and spend the night with us. 

Got to celebrate Grandma's birthday too!!

Father's Day

We got together at Grandma Julie's and Grandpa Kris's to swim and grill some lunch. Uncle Mitchell came up from IL (he and Gabby have been staying at her parents since March when they drove to NY to get them - they have been quarantining there so they aren't stuck in their apartment).

Then we stopped at Nana and Papa's and got a couple hours on the boat. It was a warm one. Lake was busy for sure.

He Made it...

Started our morning with a walk...and found a deer staring when we returned!

Then it was onto Milwaukee Junior Admirals tryouts for Eddie. Two separate hours of skating and then the verdict...He Made It!! Bring on AAA hockey Elite Tier 1 league this fall. Finally an association that will help develop our skater! So proud of him and excited...now to find the money to fund the fun.

This is the 2010 MJA team (yes, Eddie is a 2011 playing on the 2010 team. They ended up taking 5 his age...they're better skaters!)

Rowan and I tried our hand at bleach dying today...here were her finished products. 

We did 2 for Eddie too, but I had to do more on his and never got a picture. More to come.

lake projects and reward

Nana wanted lights hung on the patio...and Papa wasn't game. So I showed her the whiskey barrel idea, and Ed and I said we would do them for her, she just has to pay for it. So we got the concrete in Thursday night before out boat ride, and tonight after enjoying the lake, we got the lights up.

Much Needed...fun in the sun!!

Today, Rowan and I got haircuts and we got to play with people!! 

My cousins and their kids. Andi, Casey, and Jordyn! 

So fun and much needed entertainment and fun. Aunt Cheryl let us crash her pool, and she grilled us lunch and we all brought sides. Such a perfect day for the pool and laughs.
