some normalcy...

this normalcy, doesn't come cheap! Eddie is going to be getting back on the ice finally this week...and of course, after not skating for a couple months. His skates were too small.

So off to Hockey Haven we went. 

Walking around in freshly baked skates got a little monotonous.

Then, Friday, we got to see the Stoudt's!! We ordered some pizza, played outside. Long overdue.

Memorial Day weekend!

Dusty and Hudson came to visit this weekend. So we took the pontoon out for some tubing and swimming. Water is not appropriate for adults to swim, but the kids didn't care. 

Blake shared that he insisted on wearing cousin Eddie's old RW shirt to bed last night. 

Too cute. 

We paid a visit to Grandpa Kris and Grandma Julie today just in time for the Memorial Day gun firing in Pewaukee. Visited with them for a bit before ending our long weekend. 

Had a friend that was scared out of our grass when Ed was mowing today...

Another puzzle completed! 

We are so close to finishing up school and some warmer weather hopefully. 

This week we picked up any remaining belongings that were at school. Was curbside pick up for both kids. Lockers and gym lockers are now empty. Very weird to end the school year like this, but clearly still necessary.

Nana and Papa had their new boat delivered this week! So we went out on a boat right with them this week to try it out. 

Such a nice ride. Now to remind Papa how to drive it and learn the lake. 

Safety first! Twiggy didn't seem to mind the ride!

Tada...and project #3

Got Eddie's new bedding on and room reorganized...he too needs some wall art. 

More to come on that.

 We were lazy this year and bought flowers pre-potted from Costco. 

 Next project, a screen door for front of house!

Had to show Ed the sunburn he managed when fishing today...Nice tan lines!

This weekend, it's Eddie's turn! He chose orange, therefore I only allowed one wall to be painted. Here is the before...

Looks like we have some serious leftovers to handle this week.

 Ed had to take a week of vacation before end of June...so he decided to take this week. He got out on the lake a couple times to fish. Though, doesn't seem as though the fish are ready to bite. Not the most successful.

Tried a blackhead mask...not sure we love it.

 We have been trying to meal plan for the week and let the kids each pick a meal a week. Eddie chose ham and rolls this week...check out these buns.!

another week gone by

Kids are always wanting to help out...so today they helped cut cheese and sausage...Let's just say, Eddie got his straight cutting from his Mother! Well done!!

Another week of Nana and Papa delivering the kids lunch...so while they sit with their DQ, Mom is eating her apple. Something is wrong with this picture! Thank you to Nana and Papa for thinking of them every week!

Started Sunday with a family walk...

Update on Eddie's arm...more healing.

Rowan helped a bit with some painting... 

Ended up taking 3 coats to cover the taupe, gross.

Here is the finished project as of Sunday night... 

Took a break around lunch time to join in a birthday drive by for Eddie's friend Jax that lives on the other side of Hwy C. Eddie was pulled behind the truck on his rollerblades!

And we put our artistic abilities to work to make signs for Papa's car, for Great Grandma Jan's birthday tomorrow!

 And Monday, we got Rowan's room all reorganized and put together...

Loving it! Now for some wall art!
