Conover day 1!!

We have arrived! Trip was uneventful...just the way we like it. Karen got the kids new floats...so we needed to try out all the new stuff and enjoy the beautiful weather.

We all tried out the paddle board...even the kids rocked it.

Headed out for a fish fry with all our friends; Eddie and Aunt Karen had their napkins on point.

This kid and his new found love of fishing...owning a boat will do that to you. 

Dad made it back in before the sun went down. He would probably sleep in this boat if we let him. 

vacation for Giz...and more ball

Karen and Doug took Gizmo home with them from Lyndon Station last weekend...so that they could get him to Grace to spend the week with while we go up north to Conover! So Grace let us know that the made it to her safely and is in good hands!

While we celebrated Grandma's birthday yesterday with friends and family, today we headed out just us and did some mini golf and lunch! We ate at Riverwalk right on the river and got to walk the river a bit too. It was toasty for mini golf but we survived. And we had cupcakes left from yesterday too so had to make Grandma blow out her candle!

After lunch we headed back so we could pack up and drive home. Such a fun weekend!

Happy 60th Grandma!!

This morning, Grandpa got out something more fun or Eddie to aim at!

Then it was time to get the house party ready! 

And we did a great job! We had many people show up to share there love for Grandma Pam on her birthday weekend. Lots of food and fun. Was beautiful weather!

We enjoyed every minute of the day though. And it was a long day...so wasn't a late one.

Why not even light some sparklers!

Lyndon Station

Got out for a walk with this gal on my lunch today...before jumping in the car to head to Lyndon Station! It is Grandma Pam's 60th birthday weekend!

We brought along Great Grandpa Dick's pellet gun to try out in the woods.

Starting just aiming at a tree trunk... 

They made me shoot it too!

Eddie decided he wanted to try a different hair cut...keeping it long on top and combing over. Will see how long this lasts...when you actually have to do something with it every day.

Gizmo got a bath today...all cleaned up!
