locker excitement

Such an exciting day for the Level 4's at gymnastics...they got their locker assignments and their locket buddies. Rowan is sharing with Alyssa; they are both super excited. 

Happy Memorial Day!

The boys did some fishing this morning...while we hung out at the cabin with the babes.

Caught a couple nice ones! 

 

After lunch...we were on our way home. Hoping to beat some traffic. My attempt of a picture of the kids this Memorial Day!

Of course, when we got home there wasn't anything thawed for dinner...so our go to place was open, Fiesta Cancun! And it looks like I have a drinking problem. I was questioning my Texas Margarita...it looked to much like the rail margarita...so they brought me a rail margarita to compare...So I had a million drinks. Oh well!

day 2 at the lake

Started the morning fishing with Eddie...

Gizmo even joined us in the boat to relax!

 We caught a few little ones close to the boat!

Then it was off to the sandbar to hang out some more...and Eddie did some more fishing!

And they each got to take a ride on the Brian's wave runner today too! Brady having some snacks with me.

Sadly...Jess and the boys weren't with us a ton between the boys being slightly under the weather, and naps and such; they missed out on some lake fun!

Rooney lake

We were invited to our friends Brian and Jess's cabin on Rooney Lake for the weekend. Was a pretty great view to wake up to this morning! 

Rowan and Gizmo even joined me outside for a bit for some coffee talk...while the others were still sleeping. We forget what it's like to have kids that don't sleep through the night every night.

Rowan was very helpful with the twins...when she wanted to be!

Somehow the pontoon ended up with all of the kids...oh well. They all wanted to stick together.

Of course we had to do some tubing! 

 Perfect day for the lake...even if it is only May!

We learned a new water game with Solo Cups...from some neighboring sand bar people.

These kids were troopers on the lake. Who doesn't love the water, a splash pad and tube!

After dinner and getting the kids snuggled in with a movie...the adults enjoyed the fire for a bit. Sadly we didn't make it very late...too much fresh air; and we are old!

 The boys have only lost one game so far this season...keep it up Nationals!

Track and Field day

We were at Hugo Elementary today for track and field day for the 1st graders. Pretty great weather for it...maybe a little sticky!

Still not sure how shoe kicking is considered track and field?

 Throw the ball...

 Sack races...

 Baseball!

Balance the egg and walk...

Sprints...against your classmates.

 Hurdles...baby ones.

 Tug of war

 Jump roping

Then we have little Miss Hollywood...heading to gymnastics.
