Easter 2014
Apparently the Easter bunny thought we should work on our catching and throwing this year. Kids sure had full fun baskets. And tons of eggs scattered around the house full of candy and even some money. I didn't do a good job of taking pictures of baskets. The kids were spoiled by many Easter bunny's this year like usual.
Then there was coloring eggs...
The day started out quite cool and breezy...but it warmed up nicely when we were out and about today.
We headed to Grandpa Kris and Grandma Julie's house for lunch today. Got to have an egg hunt outside and got more baskets. Fun fun fun.Saturday, April 19, 2014

Meet in the middle
We drove down to Illinois today to meet up for the weekend with Nana and Papa, Dusty and Julie, Blayne, Molly, Kieran, Grady and Madden. We started the day at LEGOLAND! Such fun. So many things to do and see. The kids had fun. Ed did too!
Then we headed for lunch at Chipotle.
After lunch we headed to the hotel, did some swimming. Then out for pizza dinner and some bowling. Eddie is obsessed to say the least with a bowling ball. Kid wouldn't put his ball down. Pretty cute. Was a long day of fun activities. Thursday, April 17, 2014

MN update
Well, sure was a long day yesterday. We ended up looking at 11 houses total. Ended up crossing one city off the list without even looking at any houses after determining that the commute was more than we wanted. At the end of the day, we had it narrowed down to 2 houses in 2 different cities. One in Forest Lake and the other in Hugo. There was also a $60,000 difference in price between the 2 houses, as well as about a 10-15 min difference in commute to work for Ed. So the decision seemed easy, go for the less expensive home further away. But then we looked at the school rankings again in both cities...and of course that house location had much poorer school scores. So in the end the more expensive closer home with better schools would be the winner. Onto writing an offer. And heading back to WI to our kiddos.
