Since we weren't able to get either of the kids enrolled in swim lessons this session, I decided to have Eddie try a toddler gym class. He is the oldest in the class, but he has never taken a class alone, so we decided to go with a parent child class. But he is pretty much independent throughout the class. He gets to sing and run and play for 30 minutes. It is great.

Eddie's 1st Skating Class
Well, we finally decided to put Eddie in skating too. He is definitely the youngest in the class, but he is the only one that stayed on his feet. He wasn't the most aggressive skater, but he moved when told to do so, and he didn't fall at all. Most of the other kids couldn't stay on their feet. Hoping he sticks with it for the whole 6 week session.

silly siblings
In this house, bandaids are used for each and every cut, bruise, bump, and rarely blood. So why not have a bandaid on your chin?
We had to invest in some 3T trunks because we thought we were going to be starting swim lessons again, but it turned out that the classes that worked for our schedule were all full. But we will need them for summer anyway. But...now that we are potty trained and swim diaper less, they are a little big? Oh well. Then there is Rowan and her selfie problem on my phone. Pretty cute, wish I knew where she learned to do something so goofy!

more skating
Rowan is just about done with Snow Plow Sam 2, her second skating class. She has made such drastic improvement, I can't believe it. So proud of her. She skates laps around her class.
Every week there are people coming to cheer Rowan on. Today Aunt Amanda and Peter joined us. And we went for ice cream afterwards too. There are many nights that we have had ice cream after skating with Nana and Papa and Karen and Doug, I haven't been good at the pictures every time. We have been trying not to do it all the time because the night gets too late for a school night. Friday, February 14, 2014
Happy Valentine's Day....
From our little love bugs.
They both shared juice with their school friends this year.
Both kids came home with lots of treats from their friends. Ed and I on the other hand had lots of wine to tolerate them after consuming their treats.

Disney on Ice
Such a good show. Well worth the money. Even though the kids didn't know each production by heart, they loved the show. They hadn't seen Lilo and Stitch prior to this, but still got into it. They got snacks and souvenirs courtesy of Grandma Julie. Toys pictured below. Always have to have something that lights up.
