tree and travelling

Seriously...this tree is heading in the wrong direction!
This afternoon we were on the road on our way to Lyndon Station to start our holiday celebrations! Tonight the big excitement was meeting Willet! Rowan loved him...Eddie was ok without him. And Gizmo was impartial! He was fine with him; but got tired fast. Such a cute pup!

twinsies

Thanks to Karen and Doug...we are set with WI gear that fits. Picking out clothes the night before school has become the new norm now that I am working...today we have matchy matchy outfits.
Brought Gizmo his bed into my office today so he doesn't have to sleep on the floor. Heaven forbid.
Eddie came home after school very proud of his math badge. Love him.

1 month

...on the job already! Nevermind my line up of dirty dishes and garbage on the desk behind me. But my buddy Gizmo is rarely far away these days.
But when he does leave my office...here is a place I have found him! In our shower!
Our Christmas tree is declining these days...there have been random lights burnt out all over it...but now we have big areas out. Tried replacing bulbs and checking connections; and still nothing. Guess we will be doing something new next year...new prelit or real?

St. Nick came!

I honestly wonder if the kids would have remembered this year...if the gifts didn't appear?
So excited for presents! It is still dark out as they are in my office opening gifts!

another goalie

This boy started out our day in the rink...
Then this girl took over...trying out goalie today!
She is so ready!
Rowan really enjoyed playing goalie! I couldn't tell by her face, she seems frustrated but when she came off the ice she said she loved it. Oh boy!
After hockey, Rowan headed down the street to play with her friend Brooklyn. Snow fun complete with some hot chocolate.

Game time and SC

Today Ed and I are in separate locations for hockey for the kids...
The girls played great! So much fun to watch.
After their games...they headed home to shower and were rushed outside when we heard Santa Claus coming down the street. Nothing like being outside with wet hair in December to see the Jolly man himself.

Nalipinski Boys...

...are on their way! We celebrated these baby boys tonight with a buffalo check shower; complete with some lumberjack snacks and drinks and some necessities for my dear friend Jess! Jess is expecting twin boys in early February, but realistically early January. Pregnancy sure looks good on her.
