Nana and Papa visit...

...and we took them to the Mall of America! Eddie was super excited to get a new toy from the Lego store. He wouldn't let go of the bag...or get out of the stroller.
And Nana took Rowan into the American Girl store for the first time...and out she came with a Julie doll! So fun.

Then we had some much needed lunch to keep us going.
Nana and I sent the kids home with the guys after lunch and we attempted to do some Christmas shopping...but we weren't very successful. We wandered for an hour or so and then headed home. Was a short visit but nice to have them here and see our new digs. Kids enjoyed their visit and kept them busy with games and what not.

the high dive...

Last week in swim lessons, Rowan was a little hesitant to jump off the high dive and had to hold her teachers hand. This week, she was over it. She jumped right in. Yay!

school fun

I caught Eddie having fun with his friends on the playground today when I picked him up from school. Too cute.

Hudson John Smith

Kids were giving Aunt Julie 2 thumbs up for her good work while in labor this morning!
And then...after laboring for 12 hours and ending up with a C-Section due to this little boy being sunny side up...Hudson John Smith joined us at 6 pounds 12 oz!

spa day

Rowan had off of school today...so the kids took a bath! They haven't taken a bath in a long time because they always want to shower in our shower. So today we used the bath colors and soaked for quite awhile.

super saturday...

We had quite the busy day today...started out with breakfast and some matching games!
Then we showered and headed to the Mall of America. Our first trip there since we moved here. We didn't do much shopping, mostly did some rides and played in Nickelodeon Universe.
Then Mitchell and Brooke met us for lunch at Benihana...Kids loved it!
Eddie was mesmerized by the chef and his tricks.
Because Friday night went by so fast between dinner and trick or treating...they forgot to open their Halloween gifts from Grandpa and Grandma Knutson that were sent along with Amanda and Peter. So we played with that...
Then we had a later dinner since lunch was later...played some games, had a few beverages and just hung out and relaxed. Was a fun day!
