School sing-a-long

Meadowview had an all school sing along today where they sang Christmas carols and the teachers did a little performance. So we went to watch. It was short and sweet but the kids seemed to have fun! Even Eddie and Alli!

Today we had our friends over after school to do a little Christmas project. They decorated cones as Christmas trees! Honestly the kids were more interested in playing than the project, but they all tried.

Lately we have been hanging out in our garage to stay warm before the bus comes. But today we were able to venture out into the snow in the yard before the bus came. Silly kids.

And after school today we had our friends over to decorate some ice cream cone Christmas trees! And play of course. Wouldn't be fun without our friends and playtime.

Rudy and Buster sure have been getting themselves into some trouble around here lately. You would think they were bored keeping an eye on Rowan and Eddie.

Was a rare moment to have the kids sitting doing a look and find book together and quietly. Thanks to Grandma Pam to getting them each a new book the other day. They sure love their look and find books. Usually Mom and Dad have to be involved though.

another monday...

This little elf has been next to Santa at daycare for a few weeks...today we had to get a picture with him! Eddie points him out to me every time we leave!

Last night of skating tonight! Everyone was running late due to the bad weather, and Rowan was complete with a new pair of figure skates. She did awesome with them, she was back to her rock star skating self. There was a little show that the participants put on and food afterwards as well. Oh and family and friends could free skate with the kids as well. Ed, Eddie and Peter all got out there with Rowan. I wasn't really in the mood to humiliate myself.

I was actually trying to find a gingerbread house kit for the kids to work on, but found these rice krispy houses instead. A bit easier for the kids anyway. Right up my alley for some quick easy entertainment.
